about carte blanche
carte blanche is an initiative that grew out of a QWF workshop in creative nonfiction. Founding members of carte blanche are: Sandy Wolofsky, Jennifer Zakutney, Barbara Rudnicka, Claire Helman, Mary Lynn Deachman, Elise Moser, Rhonda Mullins, and Maria Turner.
While it originally focused on Quebec writers, carte blanche is now expanding to become an international publication. We are now accepting submissions from all over the world.
It is published online twice a year. The deadline for the spring issue is March 15th.
The editors of carte blanche are:
- Maria Turner, creative nonfiction
- Neale McDevitt, fiction
- Patrick McDonagh, poetry
- Managing Editor duties are shared by Joni Dufour and Erin O'Connell.
carte blanche is a volunteer, not-for-profit project sponsored by the QWF. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and to the QWF board for its support.
This site has a print stylesheet and should format fine without the need for a separate 'print version' of a particular page.
